Your typical grocery store, theres some healthier alternative options. Pretty minimal selection. Produce and meat prices are reasonable

My first visit Aldi‘s was a great one. I was so excited to go back now. Mind you this was when they first opened here, Metairie since then I’ve been there Three times declining each time worse and worse. Their meat is absolutely disgusting and made my family sick on one occasion. I froze two separate meats for them both to end up bad and the freezer. However, the other meat in the freezer was fine so it definitely was the meat today and the produce was absolutely I end up, leaving without purchasing a thing however I wouldn’t have been able to buy much anyways since they decided to stock after they close apparently had a very busy day. I don’t know how they keep getting all these good reviews please google this company before you head out to the store Not to mention, you have to put a quarter in the basket just use the basket, but you do get your quarterback and you have to pay for all your bags.

I was anxious about coming here, so I figured I would do a visit to see how things worked before coming for a shopping trip. Around the edges is produce, meats and dairy. On the interior aisles is the shelf stable items. There are several self check out lanes, and one that is manned. Check out and go to the table by the exit to bag your own items. The process of getting your cart is not like the process at the airport, there's a spot on the handle for the quarter to go to release the cart to you. You plug it back in to get your quarter back. Reasonable prices on inventory. On the seasonal shelves, I did meet some of my gnome friends.

Got all of this for $88! However this is not a one stop shop store the drink options were very few but the meat was reasonably priced you have to buy or bring your own bags one cashier everything else is self checkout

OMG! I loved Aldi! I can't wait until they open one closer to my neighborhood! But for now I'll drive further away to go to this one. Great prices and products. Even great produce!

Was super impressed my first visit! They had a lot of really nice things, the produce looked great and the store was very clean. They have SEVERAL gluten free options for decent prices here. The Aldi branded foods so far have all been very good - especially the coffee creamer!

Went there & No thanks walked out when I realized I had to inconvenience myself by bringing bags! I don’t shop at stores owned by corporations who are too cheap and greedy to offer customer convenience or gratitude for spending money by offering bags! Taking jobs from actual baggers! We have to do ALL THE WORK after shopping lol what a joke! People actually fall for this scam! If it was for environment then get rid of every product that has plastic or harmful to humans or environment.

Prices are better at Aldi on just about everything, just have a somewhat limited selection for choices. Their meats and cheeses are great. Good selection of veggies and fruit, too. Worth the visit.
