Absolutely horrible customer service both at a local store level and the customer service number. I was in store and saw deal on a safe I wanted but they only had one out of the box. I asked for card board from the back so I could use it to prevent scratches in transport. The guy brought out a box that was way to small and said they couldn't do anything else. I went to the front and asked for a manager and none would come to the front. Again I was told there was nothing they could do. I said I would just come back and get it since they could not help. A day later I now have my own padding for protection and am told it is no longer on sale. Not willing to honor price even though I was never told it was changing price the next day or offered any solution for the problem.

Great store. The cashier was very helpful and had really good customer service. All the employees were super helpful came in for baseball items and left with everything we came for and then more. Will return

It seems nobody in the building enjoyed what they do. There are a lot of empty shelves. Didn't find what they had in the past. Seems like a store ready to close. Wouldn't take any time to go back. It was great once, not now. Waste of time.

we just tried to buy a 800 safe. no one in store had any cardboard to put under safe in vehicle so we didn't buy it. no one cares about it either

I recently purchased a shirt at Academy that showed .97 cents and was charged full price. When I spoke with a manager on duty 8/24, I was advised that nothing in the store costs that price and refused to adjust due to their mistake. When I asked for the corporate number, she gladly handed me the number and walked away.

The item selection seems to have dropped. I was always able to find items I needed for hunting here, but this last visit was disappointing. Limited selection of hunting clothes, deer stands, ammo, & excessories.

I drove for approximately 30 minutes only to find that the store was not adequately stocked with football equipment. The store appeared disorganized and the staff seemed unprepared to assist us. After a prolonged period of waiting, an employee finally offered to help my son and me with selecting shoes. However, he seemed more preoccupied with monitoring our movements, giving the impression that he suspected us of theft. Eventually, he asked if we required assistance, and we informed him of our needs. Following this interaction, he extended an invitation for dinner, which I found inappropriate considering the circumstances and the fact that my son was present.
